Encrypted 128Bit Instant Messaging Client for when you need privacy and secure messaging. Set up a free account with uWho(Press Menu Settings then Menu:set up Account) or it can be used with a Google chat account or any XMPP Server like Openfire open source chat server. Note: We do not store messages on our servers.
Note: you must know the other users name@im.uwho.net and enter it under menu to chat privately and encrypted. When creating a username and password they both must be at least 6 characters with no spaces.
Our changes to the Beem source code integrate to the uWho suite of Mobile applications like uMedia and uComm to display presence information for users when they are away, on the phone, available and uMedia broadcast if installed.
In settings override Server location enter talk.google.com then use your Google account and password. Presto your friends all turn up and you can chat away. To enjoy a secure encrypted chat your friend must also have the uIM mobile Android client.
